Primary reason

Second reason
Most of the water gets into the fuel tank of a bike when people wash their bike. Many people pour water under pressure and if the lid is loose then water can get inside the tank.
This is how you can remove water from the fuel tank:-
If ever water gets into the fuel tank of your bike, then you have to do one thing. First of all, park the bike on a double stand. Then place a bottle at the bottom of the petrol tank and open the drain valve given at the bottom of the tank.
After this you have to take out the petrol in the bottle and when it is empty, close the valve. After this, you have to leave the lid of the tank to dry. However, if you wish, you can also dry the fuel tank with the help of a hair dryer.
