Necessary things like wheat and rice are available from here. Provided that you should have a ration card for this. But the names of many people get removed from the ration card or the names of their family members get removed. In such a situation, if your name has also been removed from the ration card, then do not worry because you can get it added again if you are eligible. So let us know what is its method...

First, check whether your name has been deleted:-
Step 1
Many times the ration card list is updated, so your name or your family member's name may have been removed from the ration card.
In such a situation, to check whether anyone's name has been deleted, you have to go to the official website of the scheme nfsa.gov.in/Default.aspx.

Step 2
After this, you will see 'Ration Card' option on the portal.
Click on this and then also on 'Ration Card Details On State Portals'
Then you have to select your state, district block, and panchayat.

Step 3
After this, you have to select the name of your ration shop (from where you take government ration), the name of the shopkeeper, and then the type of your ration card.
Now a list will open in front of you, where you have to check your name.
If your name is not there, your name may have been cut off.

Method to add deleted name:-
Now that you know that your name has been deleted from the ration card, it has to be added.
For this, meet your ration dealer or you can go to the food supply department of your city.
Go here and fill out the name re-addition form and attach copies of relevant documents.
After this, submit the form and if everything is found correct, your name is added again.
