Ever since the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has been started to promote digital transactions. Its popularity is increasing rapidly among the people. Till now UPI transaction was done only from your bank account, but now they can also be done from a credit card. That is, you will be able to buy evening vegetables and small things with your credit card. Till now a dozen banks have started this facility and have also issued Rupay credit cards for it. You will also be able to make small payments by linking this card to your UPI.

Let us tell you that in the year 2022, Rupay Credit Card on the UPI facility was started. If you understand in simple language, only Rupay credit card users can avail the benefit of UPI payment through credit card. That's why RuPay Credit Card is also called UPI Credit Card. With Rupay Credit Card, you will be able to make UPI payments in the same way as you do with a bank account. Just here the money will be deducted from your Rupay credit card.

Cannot make a person to person payment
Now you will be able to pay by credit card by scanning at the neighborhood shop. However, through RuPay Credit Card, you can pay by simply scanning the merchant UPI QR code or making payments to online merchants. Can't make some payments like P2P, filling credit card bills. Apart from the BHIM app, Rupay credit of some banks has gone live on select UPI apps like PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay, Slice, MobiKwik, PayZapp, and Freecharge.

Let us inform you that till now NPCI operators can link Rupay credit card of 11 banks on the BHIM app.

How to Link Rupay Credit Card with BHIM App
First, open the BHIM app.

After this click on the linked bank account.

Now on clicking on +, 2 options appear in Add Account – Bank Account and Credit Card.

After clicking on the credit card, on clicking on the related card, the details of the credit card linked to your mobile number will come.

Now enter the last 6 digits and validity of the credit card.

After this enter the OTP received on the mobile.

Create UPI PIN. In this way the process of registration will be completed.

Now scan the merchant UPI QR code and select Rupay Credit Card and complete the payment by entering the UPI PIN.
