After becoming the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk made the biggest and first change by making Blue Tick fee-based. Earlier Blue Ticks were available in a total of six categories which included Government, Companies, Brands and Organizations, News Organizations and Journalists, Entertainment, Sports and Gaming, Activists, Organizers, and other Influencing Individuals. The free blue ticks were called legacy blue checks, which was the company's oldest and first verification model. With a Blue Tick subscription, features like sharing long videos, long tweets, editing, and formatting are available even after tweeting.

Monetization - Revenue Share
Elon Musk has recently launched the monetization feature and its payment has also been received by many users. With the help of this feature, Twitter users can monetize their accounts, after which the company will give money to users in exchange for advertisements. There are many conditions for this, in which the first condition is to have a Blue Tick subscription with the account. Apart from this, it is necessary to have five million or more tweet impressions every month for the last three months.

Ban on viewing unlimited tweets
Elon Musk had said a few days back that even viewing the tweet has been banned. Elon Musk has said that users with blue ticks will be able to see or read 6000 posts per day, whereas, for those without blue ticks, this limit is only up to 600 posts. Elon Musk said that this is a temporary arrangement that has been implemented to prevent large-scale data theft and manipulation of the system. In such a situation, users have started running away from Twitter.
