The menace of insects increases as soon as the monsoon starts. From the kitchen sink to the wash basin drain, insects are everywhere. If you clean every day near the wash basin drain in the house, but still you see insects again and again, then you can just follow these tips.
1. Use bleach to get rid of bugs near the wash basin drain
You can get rid of small insects and pests very easily by using household bleach. Household bleach kills insect larvae. Clean the wash basin drain once with hot water before pouring it. Then add two small cups of bleach to it.
By doing this, the insects will die within a few minutes and then you clean the wash basin drain with water. Keep in mind that when you use bleach, you must wear gloves on your hands.
2. Get rid of vermin coming near the wash basin drain with neem leaves
If you use neem leaf oil near the wash basin drain or add neem leaf powder, then due to the antibacterial properties, small insects will go away from the wash basin drain. For this, you have to take water in a big bowl and put one spoonful of detergent powder in it and then add five to ten drops of neem oil in it.
After this, mix this water properly and then do it in a spray bottle. After this spray it near the wash basin drains. This will kill the insects and will never be seen again near the wash basin drain.
3. Scrub the wash basin drain
If you do not keep the wash basin very clean, then due to this also insects start to grow a lot. If apart from insects, mosquitoes or cockroaches also come out from near the wash basin, then you will have to pour the coffee into the water near the basin. Coffee has an aroma which is very helpful in driving away insects.
