  • According to experts, if you want to remain healthy, then whenever you go out of the house to a friend or relative's house during the festival season, go only after eating a salad or fibre-rich food. This will control your hunger and you will avoid going somewhere else and doing any unhealthy overeating.
  • They keep visiting each other during festivals. In such a situation, you should always leave the house after drinking at least two glasses of water. This will prevent you from craving and you will avoid over-snacking.

  • Whenever you have dinner at a friend's or relative's place, keep an eye on your portions. In such a situation, you will not feel sad about not eating and you will also avoid excessive calorie intake.
  • Cold drinks etc. are often offered during festivals but you have to control yourself. You can choose plain water or lemonade instead of cold drinks. It is refreshing and does not cause any harm to health.
  • Eating sweets can increase weight. In such a situation, you should only eat traditional sweets made at home. Homemade sweets made from flour laddus, dry fruits and dates are healthy options.
