Stay hydrated

It is also important to stay hydrated during periods. When you drink adequate amounts of water it can help reduce swelling and water retention, which can contribute to menstrual leg pain. Aim to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water during periods. Include hydrating foods like cucumber and watermelon in the diet.
