Take full care of your diet

Thyroid problem is triggered due to wrong eating habits, in such a situation you should take special care of your eating habits. For example, if you have the problem of hyperthyroidism, then you should consume minimum salt in your food. Also, one should consume vegetables and fruits which can keep the thyroid under control. A woman suffering from hypothyroidism should include more iodized salt and whole grains in her diet.

Do not make changes to the medication yourself

Doctors recommend medicines to control the thyroid during pregnancy. In such a situation, take the dosage of the medicine as per the doctor's instructions and do not make any changes to it yourself, because doing so can reduce the effect of the medicine and can hurt the physical and mental development of the child in the womb.
