If you are traveling by metro for the first time, then it is important for you to know that the first coach in the direction of the vehicle's movement is reserved for women. It is completely forbidden for any man to go to this coach. Therefore, avoid making such a mistake.
Here, you should also know that Delhi Metro Rail Corporation i.e. DMRC has reserved a separate coach for women so that molestation and misbehavior with women can be stopped. With this, women can travel in their coach without any fear.
Flying squads are deployed at many metro stations whose job is to remove men traveling in women's coaches. This squad includes Central Industrial Security Force i.e. CISF, Delhi Metro Rail Police i.e. DMRP, and DMRC personnel.

If a person is caught traveling in the women's coach in the metro, then a fine of Rs 250 is imposed on him under the Delhi Metro i.e. O&M Act.
