The segment of the electric bicycle is spreading its feet rapidly across the world including India. Many companies including Hero Electo have launched electric cycles in India. But still, the running distance on the battery of electric bicycles is limited. But now breaking this limit, a company has claimed to have crossed a distance of 510 km on a single charge in an electric cycle. Its top speed is up to 58 kilometers per hour.

Colorado-based Optbike has shared information about its new cycle. The name of this cycle is R22. It comes with a powerful battery backup. R 22 Everest is a mountain bike. It has a 3260Wh lithium-ion battery, which is made of two removable components.

The weight of the 3.26 kWh battery is about 16 kg. It can lift more weight than the current e-cycle. Also, it can give users a better driving range in a single charge than electric bikes and scooters.

The top speed of R22 Everest is 58 kmph. It can generate a torque of 190 Nm. The company claims that users can cover a distance of 510 km using electric power. For this, users will have to cycle at a speed of 24 km per hour and only 72 kg of the load is available on it.

This cycle can easily pass through bumpy roads. Also, it will be able to get out easily even on difficult roads. The company has used disc brakes for better controls.
