Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG

The recently launched Maruti Suzuki Celerio is not only the most fuel-efficient petrol car in India but also the best car with the highest CNG mileage. It is equipped with a 1.0-liter K10C dual-jet naturally-aspirated petrol engine that makes 56 hp power and 82.1 Nm peak torque and has a mileage of 35.60 km/kg.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R CNG

Before the new Celerio was launched in India, it was the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R CNG with a maximum mileage of 32.52 km/kg. The Wagon R is powered by a 1.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine that generates 56.2 hp power and 78 Nm peak torque.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG

Next, we have the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, which has replaced the 1.0-liter Alto in India. The Maruti S-Presso CNG delivers a mileage of 31.20 km/kg and is equipped with a 1.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 56.2 hp power and 78 Nm of peak torque.

Tata Tiago CNG

Apart from Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai, the only other car on the list is a Tata Motors car. Tata has recently forayed into the CNG segment of cars with the launch of the Tiago CNG which gives a mileage of 26.49 km/kg. It is powered by a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, naturally-aspirated, bi-fuel petrol engine that produces 72 hp of power and 95 Nm of peak torque.

Hyundai Santro CNG

The first car apart from Maruti Suzuki on the list is the Hyundai Santro, which is the cheapest car in Hyundai's India line-up and offers a mileage of 30.48 km/kg. The CNG variant of the Hyundai Santro is powered by a 1.1-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 59.1 hp of power and 85 Nm of peak torque.
