Most knee pain is caused by physical exertion, lack of essential nutrients such as vitamin D, calcium, and iron, as well as age-related muscle and tissue breakdown. Meanwhile, here are some home remedies that provide relief from pain, swelling, and stiffness in case of an injury.

Lemon
Are you wondering why the above-mentioned home remedies include lemon or lime juice? This is because lemon is an inexpensive remedy for arthritis pain. The citric acid in lemon dissolves uric acid crystals, which cause some types of gout.
Cut one or two lemons into quarters.
Tie the pieces in a cotton cloth and dip them in hot sesame oil.
Place the cloth on the painful knee for 5-10 minutes.
Do this twice a day until the knee pain disappears.

This sacred plant has anti-rheumatic and antispasmodic properties.
Boil a cup of water with a few basil leaves for a few minutes.
