Changes in the DND app
Most people have turned on the Do Not Disturb function on their phones, yet there is a flood of calls coming from unknown numbers. Given this problem, TRAI has made some major changes to the DND app. There were many bugs present in DND earlier which have now been removed.
How does TRAI DND work?
- If you use Android smartphone, then download TRAI DND 3.0.
- After downloading the app, install it and log in through OTP.
- After login, the app will start working on your number.
- After this, you can block calls coming from unknown numbers. With this, you can also file a complaint.
iOS users cannot avail of benefits
Only those with Android phones can avail the facility of TRAI DND app. For iOS users, this will have to wait.

- Tech Company Google provides the facility Phone by Google app to its users, with the help of which you can solve your problems.
- To avoid this problem, you have to download the phone by Google app first from the Play Store.
- After this, this app will have to be opened. After opening, you will see three dots on the top right corner of the home page.
- After clicking on it, click on menu settings. Tap on the Blocked Number visible on Settings. Click on the unknown option here.
After turning on this setting, you can get rid of unknown number calls.
