Tata Motors will soon launch four of its electric cars in the Indian market, one of which the company has unveiled an electric concept SUV Curvv. Tata Motors will launch 10 new cars in the electric segment in India by 2026, of which the company will launch 3 or 4 electric cars in the next two years.
In addition, Tata Motors has announced the launch of two new electric cars by 2023 based on the ICE model.
Tata Nexon EV Long Range: Tata Motors is working fast on the long range variant of their new electric SUV Tata Nexon EV which is ready for launch.
In the long range Tata Nexon EV, the company can offer a 40 kWh capacity lithium-ion battery pack, capable of delivering a range of more than 400 km on a full charge. In the current Nexon EV, the company has given a battery pack of 30.2 kWh capacity which can give a range of 312 km once fully charged.
Tata Altroz EV: The company has unveiled the Tata Altroz EV at the 2020 Auto Expo, which is expected to launch soon. According to reports, the Tata Altroz EV could be offered with a 30.2 kWh capacity lithium-ion battery pack capable of giving a range of up to 300 km once fully charged.
Tata Punch EV: Tata Punch is the cheapest micro SUV in the country, which the company can launch in both CNG and electric variants. The company may launch the electric version of Tata Punch in 2023.
Tata Curvv EV: Tata Motors has unveiled this concept electric SUV, which the company may launch in 2024. In addition to the electric version, the company may also launch petrol, diesel and CNG variants of this SUV. According to reports, the company will build this electric SUV on the X1 platform.
