To compete with Reliance Jio, Paytm, Flipkart and Amazon, Tata Digital is going to launch a one stop mobile app today (April 7). Tata has named this app as Tata Neu, through this app you will be able to do both shopping and payment. Earlier, the app was exclusively used by Tata Group employees. But now this app is being made public. The app will be available on both Google Play and Apple's App Store. Tata Neu will act as a 'Super App' that will cater to the daily needs of the customers like daily grocery, electronics, financial services etc. on a single platform.
1) Tata Neu is designed to be a super-app, this app will provide a wide range of services from your daily grocery to the latest gadgets, flight booking and know on holidays. It also offers offers on various brands like AirAsia India, BigBasket, Croma, IHCL, Westside, and others.
2) Every time you make a purchase, this app will give you a common reward point called NeuCoins. These reward points can be earned online or by making purchases in physical locations. This app guarantees to earn and maximize your savings. Let us know that the cost of 1 NeuCoins will be Rs.
3) The app has black default background and different icons. A user can read about the latest trends through the app like fashion, tech, holiday and food related information you will get on this app.
4) With Tata New, users can pay using NewCoin, cards, UPI, EMI and more across multiple Tata brand apps, websites and in-store. By bringing in Tata Neu, the company is going to make competition difficult for Indian fintech companies including Paytm and MobiKwik.
5) The app offers personal loan, short term credit and insurance along with bill payment. Through this app, users can easily track and pay electricity, mobile, DTH, broadband bill, recharge etc. in one go.
