Tata Motors is going to bring a new SUV soon. According to the report, the company is working on an SUV coupe based on the country's best-selling SUV Tata Nexon. 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines can be given in this vehicle.

It will be longer than the subcompact Nexon. Its length will be about 4.3 meters. Tata Blackbird can compete with vehicles like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Nexon Coupe will be built on the same X1 architecture as the regular Nexon, though some modifications can be done according to the size.

The rear part can be stretched to increase the length of the vehicle. The wheelbase is likely to increase by 50mm. The exterior is expected to undergo several changes to make it different from the regular Nexon. Changes can be made to its front face and rear. However, the A-pillars and front doors will be kept the same.

The Nexon Coupe is likely to get a new 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 160 hp. While the existing 1.2-litre Revotron turbo petrol engine will not be taken from the Nexon, the 1.5-liter Revotorq diesel engine will be upgraded to offer more power and torque output. It will get both manual and automatic transmission options.

Let us tell you that the company has been preparing for Tata Blackbird for a long time. The discussion of this vehicle started in the year 2018. As of now, no information has been received about the features of this SUV.
