In this sequence, a scheme is going to start soon, which is named Subhadra Yojana. The Odisha government is going to start this scheme on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (September 17). First, know about the scheme and the benefits available in it
The Odisha government is going to start the Subhadra Yojana to promote women's empowerment. This scheme will start on 17 September 2024 and this scheme will run for the next 5 years i.e. from 2024-25 to 2028-29.

Under this scheme, only women will get the benefit and eligible women will be given two installments of Rs 5,000 each (once on the occasion of Rakshabandhan and a second time on the occasion of International Women's Day). This money will be sent directly to the bank account of women through DBT. At the same time, women will also get debit cards of which 100 women out of the women who will do the maximum digital transactions in a gram panchayat and urban body will get an additional Rs 500.

Who is eligible for the scheme?

Women between 21-60 years who are natives of the state of Odisha

Whose family's annual income is not more than Rs 2.50 lakh

To apply, women must come under the National Food Security Act i.e. NFSA or State Food Security Scheme SFSS.
