Soya Khichdi: By now you must have tasted many recipes made from soya, today we are going to tell you about soya khichdi, which is full of nutrients. This aromatic and flavourful khichdi is best to bring a flavourful and nutritious change to your daily diet.
Material :
-1 cup soybeans, soaked
-1 1/2 cup rice, soaked
-2 green chilies
-2 tomatoes, chopped
-1 large onion, chopped
-1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
-1 tbsp oil
-1 tsp turmeric
Salt as per taste
-1 tsp cumin
-2-3 tsp fresh coriander, chopped
-1/2 cup curd
- 1/4 cup green peas
Method :
1. First boil water in a pan, add soya bean, rice, tomato, and green chilies. Cook until the rice and beans are soft and mushy.
2. Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Now add chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste to it and fry for a minute or two.
3. Add turmeric, curd, and salt to taste, after peas add cooked rice and beans. Cook for at least 10 minutes, stirring continuously, adding water as required, and then add chopped coriander.
4. Soya Khichdi is ready.
