Skoda is going to bring a new Monte Carlo edition of its Kushaq SUV. According to the report of Autocar India, it will be launched on 9 May. Like the rest of the company's Monte Carlo editions, the Kushaq Monte Carlo will get cosmetic enhancements as well as more features and interior updates. This will become the new top variant of the car. The Monte Carlo trim of the Skoda Kushaq can be Rs 50,000 more expensive than its current top model. Currently, the price of this SUV starts at Rs 10.99 lakh, and goes up to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
With the Monte Carlo Edition, the Kushak will get blacked-out ORVM housing, roof rails, grille surround, 'Monte Carlo' badge and new alloy wheels. It will get an all-black cabin layout, red inserts on the dashboard, doors and center console and black-red seat upholstery with 'Monte Carlo' written on the headrest.Such will be the features
Talking about the features, it will get Slavia-like fully digital driver display, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, single-pan sunroof, ventilated front seats, and wireless charging. According to reports, the Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo could be brought with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (150PS/250Nm). This engine will come with both 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic) options. The company also offers a 1-litre turbocharged engine (115PS/178Nm) in the lower variants of the SUV, which is mated to a 6-speed MT or 6-speed automatic.
