Every season has a different skincare routine. Even in monsoon, your skin demands an upgrade. You must also have realized that if skin care is improving the face well in summer, then it has the opposite effect in winter. Your face may not be feeling clean now with your face wash.

If you have felt these things these days, then you must change your routine. In monsoon, the skin becomes stickier and looks dull. In such a situation, you should make necessary changes in your routine, so that the light on your face does not decrease at all.

If there is more humidity in the rain, then there are some products or say formulas which suit your skin more. Come, through this article, learn the ways, with the help of which your face will be blooming like before.

Upgrade your facial cleanser in the monsoon

If you have oily skin, you must be using a mild cleanser. However, you must have noticed that both of these cleansers is not working well. In such a situation, more impurities accumulate on the skin and due to dead skin cells; your old cleanser is not able to work. Change your cleanser for a good facial cleanser. Use a clay cleanser as a part of your monsoon CTM routine. Also, you can get rid of the impurities by using a face scrub once a week, as they effectively exfoliate the skin. Invest in a good clay cleanser keeping your skin type in mind.

Use oil-free cream and moisturizer

For most of us women, the moisturizers we apply already contain natural oils. Due to this, your skin looks oilier in monsoon. The humidity already makes the skin sticky and then your oil-based moisturizer makes the skin oilier. If you want to maintain your glow, use an oil-free cream or moisturizer. Such moisturizers will hydrate your skin and give a mattifying finish. Such creams will also control the overproduction of sebum in the skin and your skin will look hydrated and glowing without looking oily.

Apply sleeping mask on face in monsoon

If you apply serum, avoid doing so in monsoon. Serums or face oils are not suitable for the rainy season. Facial oils can make your skin prone to acne because of the high moisture content. If you feel like your face is drying out without a face oil or serum, instead apply a sleeping mask with a fine texture and then gently massage your face.

The sleeping mask locks in the moisture in the skin throughout the night and gives you a youthful glow. Not only can these but sleeping masks with Vitamin E also reduce the problem of spots, spots, and dark circles.

Use an exfoliating face pack

Sheet masks are great for deeply hydrating the skin, but exfoliating face masks would be better for you in the rainy season. Exfoliating masks go deep into the pores, opening them up and drawing out impurities like dirt, oil, and bacteria. An exfoliating mask will not only nourish the skin but also remove dead skin cells, revealing your skin's natural glow.

Since exfoliating masks often contain active ingredients like AHAs, salicylic acid, and fruit enzymes to help remove dead skin cells, it's best to use them only one to three times a week.

Apply mattifying sunscreen in monsoon

Mattifying sunscreen helps to address many of your skin problems. It hydrates the skin by penetrating deep into it. It effectively blocks UVA+UVB radiation and protects the skin from free radical damage. If you have oily skin, most sunscreens may feel sticky, or leave the skin looking white after a few hours. Also, most matte sunscreens have a silicone texture that feels heavy. In this case, matte sunscreen can be a perfect choice for you. Matte sunscreen will protect your skin from the sun without causing breakouts.
