Pune Police have taken into custody shooter Santosh Jadhav, accused of the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala. After the arrest of Santosh Jadhav, the mystery of Moosewala's death can be revealed, as well as many secrets can be revealed about the threat received by Salman Khan.

An official said that the Pune countryside police have also nabbed an accomplice of Jadhav, who is a suspect in the Moosewala murder case. He said that Additional Director General (Law and Order) Kulwant Kumar Sarangal may give detailed information to the media persons. Jadhav, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been arrested in a murder case registered at Manchar police station in Pune district in 2021.

The officer said that he was absconding in the case for a year and he and one of his associates, Nagnath Suryavanshi, have been named in the Moosewala murder case. The Pune countryside police had arrested Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal last week for allegedly sheltering Jadhav after the 2021 massacre during a search operation.

Mahakal was also questioned by the Mumbai Police for sending threatening letters to screenwriter Salim Khan and his actor son Salman Khan. The Pune police had sent several teams to Gujarat and Rajasthan last week to trace Jadhav, the official said. Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has sought the support of the Canadian government to nab the gangster allegedly operating from Canadian soil.

After the murder of Moosewala on May 29, the police had claimed that Lawrence Bishnoi's gang was behind it. Goldie Barr, a resident of Canada, had claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar is said to be a member of the Bishnoi gang. However, the official statement did not mention Moosewala's death and the subsequent claim of Goldie Brar.
