There is bad news for the candidates who are dreaming of a job in the Railways. Because the Railway Board has completely banned the appointments on some posts. Let us tell you that due to outsourcing in Indian Railways, posts like Assistant Cook, Bill Poster, Typist, Gardener, Daftari, Carpenter, Khalasi, and Painter will now be abolished. After an internal review done by Indian Railways, it has been decided to abolish these posts. According to the information, now these posts will never be recruited. Railways will settle the work on these posts only by outsourcing. The purpose of the Railways behind this is to be told to save the money for the department.

According to the information, 14,329 posts are lying vacant out of a total of 60 thousand employees in various categories of railways. It was expected that very soon the railways would take out the notification and increase the recruitment process for these posts. But the Railways has completely banned the recruitment of these posts. Which will never be recruited again. This decision of the Railways is a setback for lakhs of youth who were preparing for recruitment for these posts. Let us tell you that according to the Railways, due to technological advancement, there is not enough work left for the employees posted on these posts. Keeping in mind the increasing expenditure on the Railways, this decision has been taken. However, in the workplaces where there is a need for employees, the work will be done through outsourcing.

Let us tell you that the Chairman of the Railway Board has written a letter to all the Zonal General Managers in this regard asking them to focus on reducing the expenditure on human resources. He says that 67 percent of the total expenditure on behalf of the Railways is done only on human resources. For this reason, Railways has decided to cancel the posts with less work. Along with this, he has also been asked to prepare a report of the workplace and work report and send it to the board after preparing a proposal for outsourcing.
