October 4 i.e. Friday is the second day of Navratri. On this day, Maa Brahmacharini, the second form of Maa Durga, is worshiped. Maa Brahmacharini is considered the goddess of penance and renunciation. She has a rosary in her right hand and a kamandal in her left hand. Offering milk, sugar, and Panchamrit to Maa Brahmacharini is said to be very auspicious.
That's why today we will teach you to make Panchamrit in the right way. So that you too can make Panchamrit with your own hands and offer it to Mata Rani. By doing this, the second form of Mata Rani will be pleased with you and all your wishes will be fulfilled.
What is Panchamrit
Panchamrit is a Sanskrit word, which means 'five nectars'. Panchamrit is used in worship and religious rituals in Hinduism. It is specially made up of five elements, which are as follows.
Ingredients for making Panchamrit
Milk - 1 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 teaspoon
Honey - 1 teaspoon
Sugar
Method
To make Panchamrit, first take 1 cup of cold milk in a vessel. Now add 1/2 cup fresh curd to the milk and mix it well. Keep in mind that the curd should mix well with the milk.
Now add 1 teaspoon of ghee to it and mix well. After this add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix the mixture well again. Now add 1 teaspoon of sugar to it and stir it well till it dissolves.
Before offering the food, be sure to add basil leaves to it. After mixing all the ingredients well, Panchamrit is ready. Offer it to Mata Rani in puja and later distribute it as prasad.
