Sharad Purnima 2023: This year Sharad Purnima is on 28th October. According to the calendar, Sharad Purnima is celebrated on the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. On the day of Sharad Purnima, the Moon is very close to the Earth and the aura of the 16 phases of the Moon affects every living being on Earth. The rays emanating from the moon on the night of Sharad Purnima are considered like nectar. This is the reason why people prepare kheer under the open sky on this day. It is believed that if kheer is kept in moonlight overnight on Sharad Purnima, it acquires medicinal properties. Then, if you consume this kheer the next morning, your health remains good. But this time due to the shadow of a lunar eclipse falling on Sharad Purnima, nectar will not rain from the sky. In such a situation, would it be right to keep Kheer in the open sky on this day or not? Let us know about it...
When will the lunar eclipse occur?

Shadow of the lunar eclipse on Sharad Purnima
This time, after nine years, there is a coincidence of the lunar eclipse on Sharad Purnima and this lunar eclipse will be visible in India also. In astrology, the event of a lunar eclipse is not considered auspicious. In such a situation, on Sharad Purnima, other programs including worship will be completed during the day itself.
Along with the eclipse, its Sutak period is also not considered auspicious. During this period worship was considered prohibited. In such a situation, the doors of the temples will be closed from noon on 28th October. Because of this, the kheer made on Sharad Purnima will also not be made this time at midnight. In such a situation, if you want, you can make a kheer and offer it to God on the next day. Or today, before the start of the Sutak period, make kheer and keep basil leaves in it. After the lunar eclipse is over, you can consume this kheer by keeping it in the moonlight.
You can do these things after the lunar eclipse is over
First of all, before the start of the Sutak period of lunar eclipse, put Kusha or Tulsi leaves in cow's milk.
Then keep it covered. This will keep the milk pure during the Sutak period.
Later, after the lunar eclipse is over, take a bath and sprinkle Ganga water all over the house.
After this, you can make kheer of this milk and offer it.
If you wish, you can keep this kheer under the open sky in the morning for nectar rain.
