State Bank of India (SBI) has given a big blow to more than 40 crore people in the country. The general public, who is struggling with inflation, will now have to spend Rs 75 extra than before to use this one service of SBI. The new charges will be implemented from April 1, 2024, which means now you have only 4 days left for relief.
State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that on some of its selected ATM cum debit cards, annual maintenance charges will now be Rs 75 more than before. This means that keeping some debit cards from the bank is now going to cost you more than before.
Changes in the charges of these debit cards-
According to the notification of SBI, from now on the charges of Classic, Silver, Global, and Contactless Debit Cards as well as Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Cards, Image Cards like My Card and Platinum Debit Card, and Pride or Premium Business Debit Card have been increased.
Know how much will be charged for which card?
If you have any of the above-mentioned debit cards of SBI, then you will now have to pay more charges for it than before. Know how much will be charged for whom?
Earlier, Rs 125 + GST was charged for Classic, Silver, Global, Contactless Debit Card, now after April 1, 2024, it will be Rs 200 + GST.
Now you will have to pay Rs 250 + GST for image cards like Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, and My Card. Earlier it was Rs 175 + GST.
Similarly, for the Platinum Debit Card, earlier you had to pay Rs 250 + GST, but now you will have to pay Rs 325 + GST.
From now on, an annual maintenance charge of Rs 425 + GST will have to be paid for Pride or Premium Business Debit Card, earlier it was Rs 350 + GST.
