Bollywood actor Salman Khan is facing threat to his life these days, due to which he met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar at his office in South Mumbai today. If reports are to be believed, he has applied for a license for his protection.

The actor reached the Mumbai Police Headquarters opposite Crawford Market in his car at around 4 pm and met Phansalkar, an official said. Khan also met the Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Vishwas Nangre Patil there. However, nothing can be said with certainty so far as to what was the conversation between Salman and the police commissioner.

It may be recalled that after the murder of late singer Sidhu Musewala, Salman Khan had received death threats. The threatening letter clearly states that "Salman Khan's condition will also be like Moosewala". This letter was received by Salman's father Salim Khan when he had gone for a morning walk. Later, Salim Khan with the help of his security personnel approached the police and a case was registered in this regard at Bandra police station.

However, the actor denied the threat call or dispute with anyone, saying that- "I have no enmity with anyone nor do I suspect anyone. Earlier, Salim Khan's statement was also recorded. The threatening letter was sent to I don't have any doubts about anyone and nowadays I have no enmity with anyone.
