Remedies to relieve swelling in toes
- The best and cheapest solution to remove swelling and redness of feet is to apply salt in lukewarm water. Mix rock salt in half a bucket of hot water put your feet in it and keep it for at least 20 to 25 minutes. This will provide considerable relief from swelling and pain.
The use of turmeric and honey can also prove effective in eliminating this problem. Turmeric has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. This helps in reducing swelling. Prepare a paste by mixing two pinches of turmeric in one spoon of honey and applying it to the affected area.
- Mixing black pepper powder in mustard oil and massaging the affected area also provides relief from pain and swelling.
- Garlic oil can also prove beneficial in this problem. Take mustard oil add 5 to 6 garlic cloves in it and heat it. When the garlic is cooked properly, cool the oil. Now apply lukewarm oil gently on the affected area. This can also provide relief.
