We feel uncomfortable when there is a pain in the ear. This makes it difficult or impossible to function and can disrupt many of your regular routines, such as sleep. No matter what type of earache you have, there are things you can do for yourself to help ease the discomfort and prevent it from progressing to something worse.
Today we are telling you about some natural tips which can help you to get rid of ear pain and infection. Information about these tips has been shared by Ayurveda and gut health coach Dr Dimple through his Instagram. She wrote in the caption, 'Ear infection can occur during winter or due to bacteria, virus or fungus getting trapped in the inner, middle or outer ear.' But first of all, let us know about the cause of ear pain.
What are the causes of ear pain? (Reasons for Ear Pain)
There can be many different reasons. For example, if you've recently had a cold or the flu, you may find that after several weeks you have residual ear pain. Earache can be one of the side effects of sinusitis, which can make you feel unwell along with headache, toothache and tenderness in the jaw and neck.
This type of infection is a common cause, but earaches can also be the result of other problems, such as grinding your teeth. Often, ear pain can be controlled and reduced at home, but if it becomes severe or is accompanied by fever, a doctor should always be consulted.

It also affects your ear canal to clear the sinus passages. It's a great tool to help clear up mucus build-up and reduce the effects of an infection, but it can also take some getting used to. A neti pot resembles a small teapot.
It is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to unclog sinuses and may help ease problems such as earaches.
Method to do-
- Do steam or water neti with a few drops of eucalyptus oil.
- It works by using a saline solution (usually 1 teaspoon of pure salt in 500ml of boiled water) that is poured from a vessel into one nostril. The solution flows into the other nostril and then out into the sink.
