Redmi's new smartwatch with a big display and calling feature, earphones also launched in the market

Redmi has launched its new smartwatch Redmi Watch 3 Active in India. Along with the Redmi smartwatch, the company has also introduced the SonicBass Wireless 2 earphones and the Redmi 12 Series smartphone. The smartwatch has a 1.83-inch LCD and supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Regarding the battery of the smartwatch, the company claims that it gets a backup of up to 12 days. At the same time, an ultra-lightweight body, fast charging, and 16 hours of battery backup are available with earphones.

Redmi Watch 3 Active price in India is Rs.2,999. It comes in two color options – Platinum Gray and Charcoal Black. There is also an olive green strap which users can buy for Rs.499. The sale of the smartwatch will begin on August 3 at noon from the company's official site and Xiaomi retail stores. At the same time, Redmi SonicBass Wireless 2 Bluetooth earphones have been introduced for Rs 1,199. It comes in Black and Blue color options. The earphones will be available on sale from August 2.

Redmi Watch 3 Active gets a 1.83 inch LCD, which comes with 240×280 pixel resolution and 450 nits peak brightness. The smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and Bluetooth calling. An inbuilt microphone and loudspeaker are also available in the watch for calling. You can also save up to 10 contacts from the Mi Fitness app with the watch. Users can also access up to 20 recent calls.

The Redmi Watch 3 Active supports over 100 sports modes and multiple health tracking features like a blood oxygen level sensor and heart rate monitor. The watch also has support for over 200 watch faces. Talking about the battery, the smartwatch packs a 289mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 12 days of battery life with normal usage and up to eight days of heavy usage. The watch supports a magnetic charger.

The Redmi SonicBass Wireless 2 neckband has been equipped with a 9.2mm super bass driver. The earphones come with support for an ultra-lightweight body, fast charging, a Type-C port for charging, multipoint pairing, and IPX5 water resistance. There is also support for Dual Mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) in the earphones. The company has claimed up to 16 hours of battery backup with the earphones.
