If you are bored of eating the same thing for breakfast every morning, then we have brought the recipe of Curd Bread Upma for you. It is delicious and does not take much time to make. So let us know how you can make it.

Material:

5 slices of bread

1 cup curd

1/2 cup tomatoes

1/2 cup green peas

2 tbsp peanuts

1 onion

1/2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp chopped ginger

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp Anardana

8-10 curry leaves

1 green chilli,

chopped 1 tbsp oil

Salt as per taste

Recipe:

First of all, take bread pieces and grind them in a mixer to make pieces. To get the taste like upma, the slices have to be ground coarsely.

Take curd in a bowl and beat it well.

Now, take a saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and heat it on medium flame.

As soon as the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and let them crackle. Then add finely chopped green chilies, ginger, onion, curry leaves, tomatoes, green peas and peanuts.

Fry this mixture while stirring until the tomatoes become soft.

Add turmeric powder and mix well. After this add some sugar to it and keep cooking.

When the spices start giving out aroma, add finely ground bread crumbs and whipped curd to it.

Make sure you do not add salt and garam masala before curd; Otherwise, it may burst.

Stir the mixture for 2-3 minutes to incorporate all the remaining spices and flavors.

Finally, add fresh coriander and pomegranate seeds to garnish. Your Dahi Bread Upma is ready to serve.
