Generally, when people have to travel a short distance, they prefer to travel by train instead of flight. People get a lot of convenience by traveling by train. Given this, now under the new project of the Government of India, a plan is being prepared to connect different cities of the country with rail connectivity. For this, the Government of India will build many new railway stations. In which cities of the country will these railway stations be built? What is the government's plan regarding railway stations? The project is worth 24,657 crores

On August 28, a meeting of the Cabinet's Economic Affairs Committee was held under the chairmanship of PM Modi. In this meeting, 8 railway projects were approved. This project of railways will connect 40 lakh people of 7 states with rail service, under this project, the Government of India will connect about 510 villages of the country to the rail network. Let us tell you that after the completion of these eight rail projects.

About 510 villages and about 40 lakh people in these districts, East Singhbhum, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Navarangpur, and Raigad, will be connected with rail connectivity. According to the information, this project of railways will be completed by the year 2030-31. If we talk about the total cost of this entire project, then it is 24,657 crore Indian rupees.

New railway stations will be built in these states
Out of these 8 projects of the Government of India, 4 are only for Odisha. While one project is for Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. While one project is for Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. Apart from that one is for Maharashtra. And one is for Bihar. Under this government project, new railway stations will also be constructed in Maharashtra, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana and West Bengal.

A railway line will be laid here

Under this rail project, there is a proposal to lay a 73.62 km long railway line between Gunupur-Therubali in Rayagada district in Odisha. At the same time, a 116 km long railway line will be laid between Junagadh-Nabrangpur in Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts.

That is, in total, a 173 km long railway line will be laid in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. A 174 km long railway line will be laid from Jalna to Jalgaon in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, while a 26.23 km long railway line will be laid between Vikramshila-Katereh in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
