According to the news published in Bloomberg, the University of Cyprus said that it is made of a mixture of Omicron and Delta form. Levondios Kostriks, Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Cyprus, said that it evolved from the combination of genetic traits such as Omicron in the delta genome. He has denied the claim that it was developed in the lab.
Kostrix said that we will see later whether this form is sicker or remains more contagious. How much impact it shows against Delta and Omicron remains to be seen. But it is my personal opinion that this strain will also be left behind against the highly contagious Omicron of Corona.

Kostrix and his team have identified 25 such cases so far. The team has also found that people hospitalized due to Kovid-19 infection are more likely to have this infection.
