Step 1
If you also want 300 units of subsidy and free electricity by installing solar panels at your home, then you will have to apply this scheme.
For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the scheme https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/
Step 2
After visiting the website, you will see the option of 'Apply for Rooftop Solar', click on it.
After this, you have to choose your state and the electricity distribution company of your area.
Then you have to fill in things like your consumer number, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 3
Now login with the help of your consumer number and mobile number and apply for rooftop solar as per the form.
After this, you have to wait for the feasibility approval from the Discom and as soon as you get it, get the plant installed from any of the registered vendors in your Discom.
Step 4
Then after completion of installation fill in the plant information and now apply for a net meter
There will be the installation of a net meter and inspection by Discom and then a commissioning certificate will be generated from the portal.
After receiving the commissioning report, fill in your bank details on the portal and submit a canceled check along with it.
Then the subsidy will come to your bank account within 30 days.
