When can the 16th installment come?
More than 8 crore farmers got the benefit of the 15th installment. In such a situation, now it is the turn of the 16th installment. If media reports are to be believed, the 16th installment may be released in the month of February-March next year. However, the date of release of the installment has not been announced yet by the Central Government.
At the same time, farmers who are found eligible for the scheme will get Rs 2,000 in installments. Under the scheme, the government directly sends Rs 2,000 in each installment to the bank account of the eligible beneficiary.
The installments of these farmers may get stuck:-
Farmers who have not got e-KYC done
Farmers whose land verification work is incomplete
Farmers whose Aadhar card is not linked to their bank account.
