The Central Government runs the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, under which there is a provision to provide financial benefits to needy farmers. Farmers who are eligible under this scheme are given Rs 6,000 annually and this money is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. In this series, this time the beneficiaries are to get the 16th installment, but before that, it is important to know which are the two works that are mandatory for the farmers associated with the scheme. If you do not get this work done, you may be deprived of the benefit of the installment. So let us know what are these tasks. You can learn about this in the next slides...
These are those two tasks-
Number 1
If you are newly connected to PM Kisan Yojana or are already a beneficiary, then it becomes important for you to get e-KYC done. If for some reason you are not able to get this done, then your installment may get stuck.
If you have not got e-KYC done, then you can get it done like this:-
To get e-KYC done, you can go to your nearest CSC center, from where this work can be done easily.
Apart from this, you can also go to your nearest bank and get this work done. Here you have to fill out the e-KYC form and take your biometrics.
Apart from these, you can also do e-KYC sitting at home through the PM Kisan portal pmkisan.gov.in.
Here you get the option of e-KYC, you can do this by clicking on it and following the process.
Number 2
If you want to be able to get the upcoming installment and not get stuck, then it is also important that you get the land verification done. If you have not got this work done till now, then you can meet the agriculture-related officer in your tehsil or block and get this work done.
