Yesterday i.e. 18 June 2024 was a very special day for the farmers associated with the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This is because the 17th installment was sent to the bank accounts of crores of farmers. PM Narendra Modi went to Varanasi and transferred the installment money to the bank accounts of eligible farmers through DBT. Actually, under the scheme, eligible farmers are given Rs 6 thousand annually and this money is given in three installments of Rs 2-2 thousand. Amidst all this, has the installment money come to your bank account? If yes, then how will you know that you have received the money? So let's know the ways by which you will be able to check whether you have received the money for the 17th installment or not. You can know about this in the next slides...
These are the three ways:-
First way
If you want to know whether the installment money has come to your bank account or not, then for this you get a message from the bank on your registered mobile number that two thousand rupees of installments have come to your bank account. Not only this, the government also sends you a message about the installment and from this you can know whether you have got the benefit of the installment or not.
Second way
If for some reason you have not received the message of getting the installment, then you can go to your nearest ATM and take out your balance or mini statement to know whether two thousand rupees of installment have come to your bank account or not. For this, you need your debit card.
Third way
If you do not have a debit card or you do not know how to use the ATM, then in such a situation you can go to your bank branch and get an entry made in your passbook to know whether you have received the installment money under the scheme or not.
So many farmers have got the benefit of the 17th installment
This time more than 9 crore farmers have got the benefit of the 17th installment. For this, the government transferred an amount of Rs 20 thousand crore to the bank accounts of eligible farmers. Farmers who were fully eligible for the scheme got the benefit of the installment.
