The Government of India runs many such schemes, through which work is done to provide benefits to the poor class, middle class, and needy people. In this series, there is a scheme called Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is run by the farmers. Under this scheme, financial benefits are given to eligible farmers. On the other hand, before the budget coming tomorrow i.e. on 1 February 2024, there is a strong discussion about whether there can be an increase in the amount of installment received under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Actually, at present the farmers who are eligible for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are given Rs 6,000 annually. At the same time, this money is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each every four months.
At the same time, if media reports are to be believed, in the interim budget to be presented on February 1, 2024, the amount of Rs 6,000 received annually under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be increased to Rs 9,000 annually. In such a situation, farmers can get Rs 3 thousand in each installment instead of Rs 2. However, it has not been announced officially yet.
If the benefits of the scheme (installment money) are increased in the interim budget, then these benefits will be applicable from April 2024 onwards. In such a situation, in the 16th installment, the beneficiaries will be able to get only Rs 2,000 as per the old rule i.e. in the installment.
When can the 16th installment come?
The 15th installment was released on November 15, 2023, after which now it is the turn of the 16th installment. If media reports are to be believed, this installment may be released in February-March. However, no official information has been revealed yet.
