However, it is being claimed in many media reports that before July 15, the government can transfer the money from the 14th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Can the wife also take advantage of the scheme along with the husband?
Only one member of a family can avail of the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If more than one person in a family applies for the benefits of the scheme. In that case, his application will be rejected.
For this reason, both farmer husband and wife cannot avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana together. Only one of the two members can avail of the benefits of the scheme.
