One97 Communications Limited (OCL), a Paytm brand company, has added a new 'PIN Recent Payments' feature on the app. With its help, the payment will be made better. Explain that the purpose of adding this feature is to make it easier for its users to make mobile payments.
Pin recent payments
This new payment feature from Paytm allows users to pin their frequently used contacts for faster access and make payments. Under this feature, Paytm allows users to pin up to five contacts.
Which users will get the facility?
Once contact is pinned in the app, they will always appear at the top when transferring money, making their UPI money transfer even faster. This facility is available for all payment modes linked by the Paytm app like Paytm UPI, Paytm UPI Lite, Paytm Wallet, Paytm Postpaid, etc.
A Paytm spokesperson said that being at the forefront of mobile payments, we constantly innovate and bring new features to enhance the user experience on the Paytm Super app. Our 'PIN Contact' feature aims to facilitate even faster UPI payments. These are value-added features, specially designed to save users time and effort while giving them the best possible payment experience.
How to pin contact
First of all, update your Paytm app and open it.
Now, under 'UPI Money Transfer' tap on 'To Mobile or Contact'.
Then long press on icons or search results.
Finally, click on 'Pin'.
How will it work for users?
Searching for contacts while making payments can be a cumbersome task, especially if you make payments to a particular contact regularly. Users have the option to search for contacts every time they make a payment.
