Parents also do as much hard work as children do for any exam. This is the reason that many times due to the low performance of children, parents create pressure on them to score more marks. But have you ever thought that what effect creating pressure on children has on them?
We spoke about this to NMCH Hospital sexologist Yogesh. He explained how it affects the parents to repeatedly nag their children to score more marks.
Why not make pressure on children
Many times parents expect children to score more marks but children don't need to be able to do so. In such a situation, interrupting the children, again and again, makes them feel less than others.
Loss of confidence
Repeatedly making children realize that they are less than other children can reduce their self-confidence. By doing this, children are afraid to even after knowing the answer, due to which more mistakes are made.
Mental stress increases
Mental stress increases when children compete with other children and are reprimanded for the same thing again and again. By doing this, children think excessively which is quite harmful.
Try to motivate improvement
To improve the education of children, you must motivate them. This will not cause stress to the children and they will be able to do something better. While motivating, keep in mind that you should not interrupt them again and again.
