Onion auction at all APMCs in Nashik district of Maharashtra will start again from Thursday. Traders who are protesting the 40 percent export duty on onions have decided to withdraw the movement. Goyal said that the decision to impose a 40 percent export duty on onions has been taken to protect the interests of consumers, but at the same time, the Center also decided to buy an additional 2 lakh tonnes of onions from farmers to avoid sales in any panic. Is.

Farmers will have to decide to sell onions as per their wish and where they get a good price, they will be able to sell it there. Traders have also performed well and their contribution to onion exports has been good. He said, "The government will decide about this and will provide help."
