In a recent study, scientists did research to find out which food is best for breakfast. The study results were published in the Annals of Nutrition and Metabolism. He found that oats are the champion for this. In the study, 36 people were divided into 3 groups.

Each participant consumed 350 calories a day. The first group had oats, the second had cornflakes for breakfast and only water. Everyone had the same lunch and dinner.

The experts measured each person's level of satiety over the next three hours. Also, insulin and blood sugar were checked. Participants in the first group had a lower craving and ate 31% less for lunch. The second and third groups had a high craving immediately after breakfast, while the first group felt full. This is because oats spend more time in your stomach.

The final results showed that oats combined with other foods reduced calorie intake by 31-50%.
