Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2023: If you have an NCC C certificate with graduation, you can become an officer in the Indian Army. Indian Army has released the notification of the NCC Special Entry Scheme 54 Course (October 2023). For this, unmarried male and female candidates (widows of war martyrs are also eligible) can apply. Application for NCC Special Entry Scheme has to be done by visiting the Indian Army's recruitment website https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/. The last date of application for this is 15 February.

For NCC Special Entry Scheme, the age of the candidates should be a minimum of 19 years and a maximum of 25 years. This means that the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2 July 1998 and not later than 1 July 2004. Those who are in their final year can also apply along with the candidates who have completed their graduation. Candidates will be selected through SSB Interviews.

NCC Special Entry Scheme 2023: Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed graduation degree with at least 50% marks. Should have served at least two/three years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC. Should have NCC C certificate.

Widows of Martyrs/Children of Injured Soldiers – Must graduate with at least 50% marks. But an NCC C certificate is not required.

NCC Special Entry Scheme 2023: Where and how long will the training be
Candidates selected for NCC Special Entry Scheme 54 Course will undergo 49 weeks of Pre-Commission Training at the Officers Training Academy, Chennai. Candidates cannot marry during training. Nor can he live with his parents/guardian. After completion of training, cadets will be awarded the title of Post Graduate Diploma in Defense Management and Strategic Studies by Madras University. After completion of training, a commission will be given in the rank of lieutenant in the Indian Army.
