People observing a fast for nine days of Navratri often have a question about what to eat during the fast. During fasting, food is prepared in ghee. In such a situation, eating oily daily also affects health. In such a situation, you can try some healthy and tasty recipes. Here we are telling the recipe of Vrat Wale Dhokla. It is prepared with very little ghee oil and is very good for weight loss.


Dhokla Ingredients
- Sama rice
- Sago
- Lemon juice
- Sugar
-Baking powder or eno
-Rock salt
-Ghee
-Green chili
-Curry leaves
-Curd
- Water

How to make

To make this, first, wash the sama rice well under water and then filter it well.
-Now put the sabudana in the grinder and then blend it well. When its consistency is in powder form, then mix the sabudana and sama rice together.
-Add water as required and then soak it. Keep it in the fridge for some time. For about 5 to 7 hours.
-Then blend this mixture well and when it becomes a smooth batter then add curd, lemon juice, sugar, and rock salt to it. You can also use citric acid in this.
-Its consistency should neither be too thick nor too thin. If it is too thick then add water to it.
-When ready to steam, add eno or baking powder to it. Now grease a vessel and then pour the batter into it.
-Steam it well, it will take about 15 to 20 minutes. After cooking, cool it and then take it out on a plate.


- Prepare the tempering. For this, heat ghee in a pan and then crackle green chilies, and curry leaves, and then spread it on the dhokla.

Dhokla is ready. Serve it with green chutney.
