Shardiya Navratri will start soon. This year Shardiya Navratri will start from 15 October 2023. According to the Hindu calendar, every Shardiya Navratri begins with the Pratipada of Ashwin Shukla Paksha. During these nine days, nine major forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped ritually. It is believed that by worshiping Goddess Durga during Navratri, the devotee gets freedom from all kinds of problems and brings happiness and prosperity in life. Devotees also follow many rules during these 9 days of Shardiya Navratri. One of the rules is that during the puja, the devotee should wear clothes keeping in mind the favorite color of the goddess (Navratri nine colors 2023). Apart from this, they should also take care that the clothes worn during puja are not dirty or torn. Nine colors of nine days
Goddess Shailputri: Goddess Shailputri is worshiped on the first day of Navratri. On this day, the seeker should wear orange clothes while worshiping the Mother Goddess. By doing this, all the wishes of the seeker are fulfilled and he attains happiness and prosperity.
Goddess Brahmacharini : There is a tradition of worshiping Goddess Brahmacharini on the second day of Navratri. On this day the seeker should wear white clothes. By doing this all the wishes of the person are fulfilled.
Goddess Chandraghanta: Goddess Chandraghanta is worshiped on the third day of Navratri. On this day the seeker should worship the Mother Goddess by wearing red clothes. By doing this they are blessed with health and a happy life.

Goddess Kushmanda: There is a tradition of worshiping Goddess Kushmanda on Chaturthi Tithi. Kushmanda is Mother Nature Goddess. Therefore, on this day, devotees should wear royal blue i.e. dark blue clothes to worship him.
Goddess Skandamata: Goddess Skandamata is worshiped on the fifth day of Navratri. On this day the Goddess should be worshiped wearing yellow clothes. By doing this the seeker attains health, knowledge and happiness of children.
Goddess Katyayani : Mahishasura Mardini Goddess Katyayani is worshiped on the sixth day of Navratri festival. On this day, devotees should worship him by wearing green clothes. By doing this the problems of family life go away and the seeker gets benefits.

Goddess Kalratri : There is a tradition of worshiping Goddess Kalratri on the seventh day of Navratri. Tantra Sadhana is also done by some seekers on this day. While worshiping Goddess Kalratri, the devotee should wear brown or gray colored clothes. By doing this all the problems of life go away.
Goddess Mahagauri: Goddess Mahagauri is worshiped on Ashtami Tithi. Mother Mahagauri likes purple color the most. Devotees should wear purple colored clothes while worshiping him on this day.
Goddess Siddhidatri: There is a tradition of worshiping Mata Siddhidatri on the last day of Varatri i.e. Navami Tithi. Mata Siddhidatri is the goddess of all siddhis. Devotees should wear peacock colored clothes to worship him on this day.
