Ingredients for making jaggery kheer
Sama rice – 1 cup
Ghee
Milk – 2 liters
Jaggery – 125 grams
Cardamom – 4
Chironji and saffron
Cashews, almonds, pistachios – 1 cup
Method
To make jaggery kheer, first, wash the fasting rice. After this, put them on the gas and cook them lightly. After cooking, keep the rice aside.
After this, take a big pan and add one spoon of ghee to it. When the ghee melts, slow down the gas. After this add cardamom to it. After this, add half a cup of water and then add milk to it. Now let the milk boil properly.
When the milk boils, add cooked rice to it. Now cook milk and rice for some time. During this time, keep stirring it continuously, so that it does not stick while frying. After this, add almonds, cashews, and chironji in milk and let it cook.
Now finally add grated jaggery to the pan and keep stirring it continuously. After adding jaggery, you just have to cook the kheer for two to three minutes. Your kheer is ready. Now decorate it with pistachios on top and then after cooling, offer it to Mata Rani.
