Nagaur Fort
Present as the best specimen of Rajput and Mughal architecture, the Nagaur Fort is believed to have been built by the ruler of the Nag dynasty in the second century. This was followed by reconstruction in the 12th century. A witness to many battles, this fort is a splendid example of the Rajput-Mughal architectural style, being one of the first Mughal strongholds in North India. The most important Kuchaman Fort here is very famous and people come from far and wide to see it. Built on the top of a steep hill, this is the most ancient and inaccessible fort of Rajasthan. Here the mints of gold and silver coins of the ruler of Jodhpur were also present. Khatu
According to Prithviraj Raso, the name of Khatu was 'Khatwan' and now the ancient Khatu is almost finished. Now there are two villages named 'Badi Khatu' and 'Choti Khatu'. Remains of a small fort built on the hill by Prithviraj Chauhan at Chhoti Khatu remain. Here is the 'Phool Bawdi', which is believed to have been built during the Gurjara-Pratihara period and is a wonderful art piece of architecture.
