Do most heart attacks occur on Mondays?

Dr. D.K. Jhamb Director and HOD, Interventional Cardiology, Sanar International Hospitals, Gurugram, Haryana says that heart attack is not related to any particular day but it is about the sudden increase in stress levels during the holidays. If you go back to work with stress on your mind, you are more likely to have a heart attack. Taking stress increases blood pressure and sugar level which is responsible for heart attack. Because of this, it is believed that more heart attacks occur on Mondays.

You all must have heard the name of Monday Blues, many people feel sad on this day. One feels anxiety and fear. Pulling yourself back into the low after a 2-day break is a bit of a strain. Especially the work you don't like at all. If you take it too straight then this problem can occur.

Apart from this, people do more workouts on weekends. People do this only on weekends instead of the whole week, this can also lead to heart attacks. Apart from this, a common mistake that we make on weekends is to consume food items which can be harmful to health.
