Momos have become a favorite street food for kids and adults these days, but have you ever thought that Momos can be a death knell for a person? Surprising to know, this is unimaginable but it is true and it has been confirmed by AIIMS, the highest medical institution in the country. Experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi have reported a rare case of death due to suffocation.

AIMS has advised people who eat hot momos with red sauce to chew them properly and eat them with caution. Not doing so endangers your health and not only can these momos affect your physical health. AIIMS experts believe that your life is in danger if you do not do this. According to experts, if you do not do this, momos can get trapped in the stomach, which is life threatening. In fact, a 50-year-old man fell ill after eating momos and AIIMS experts brought this to light only after studying his case.

This is the case in South Delhi. Where a 50-year-old man was brought to AIIMS Hospital. Where he was pronounced dead. According to the forensic report, the man drank alcohol and then ate momos. After which he fell to the ground. Experts say Momoz got trapped in the man's trachea, killing him. This problem is called neurogenic cardiac arrest.

Experts believe that the cause of death is that whenever we eat something which is too big or has the possibility of bloating inside, such things should be chewed a lot. Experts say that if we eat without chewing, it is more likely to get stuck in the airways. It can block the respiratory tract and lead to death.
