The diet consists of such foods and foods, the consumption of which helps in reducing mental health issues. Can Mind diet has been designed to keep the brain healthy to increase memory. These foods are included in mind diet
1. Green leafy vegetables which include spinach, lettuce, kale, and other cooked vegetables. Green leafy vegetables have to be eaten 6 or more times every week.
2. Try to eat at least once a day other than green leafy vegetables. It is best to choose non-starchy vegetables as they are low in calories and high in nutrients.
3. Must eat berries at least twice a week. Antioxidants are present in all berries like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
4. Try to eat nuts 5 or more times each week.
5. Use olive oil as cooking oil
6. Try to eat whole wheat grains like oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bread at least 3 days a week.
7. Consume fish once a week, choose fish like salmon, tuna, for high amounts of omega three fatty acids
8. Try to eat chicken at least 2 times a week, keep in mind that it should not include fried chicken.
9. Include beans in at least 4 meals per week, these include beans, pulses and soybeans.
